Magazines I read:
The Week, Classic Toy Trains, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, ARCHITECT, The SMPS Marketer.

Things that get me excited:
Good Kentucky bourbon, toy trains, volunteering for Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. and the Boy Scouts of America, and my two kids!

Books I would recommend to anyone:
The Next Architect by James P. Cramer and Scott Simpson because it offers a new twist on the future of design. Also, Developing Knowledge-Based Client Relationships by Ross Dawson. It’s an essential read for anyone who’s marketing professional services.

Why I do this:
Because every day is different, and because good design can improve the quality of life for all kinds of communities.

But if I had to do it all over again:
I’d own a train enthusiast hobby shop.
